He works for UK state media (read UK intelligence) and the west is what funds and sustains AS. It is how they justify entering a region, that is the case all over the world.I’m not sure why you’re troubled by the ‘stronger than ever’ comment.
Jamal is a low-key AS sympathiser and paints a good picture of their rule so that’s why he’s welcome. AS always welcome reporters who can be controlled by them.
But it’s true that AS has become stronger under Farmaajo’s reign. They’ve never been as rich and able to tax Mogadishu as much they can right now. They still control a 1/3rd of the south.
Let’s not forget the 500+ suicide bombings under Farmaajo’s reign which is his biggest security failure (even forgetting that he never captured anything unlike his predecessor).
No it’s because they were going to be used as Farmaajo’s personal militia. He works for UK state media (read UK intelligence) and the west is what funds and sustains AS. It is how they justify entering a region, that is the case all over the world.
AS were not stronger under Farmaajo but were being eliminated and attacks in Mogadishu decreased, it was constant under HSM and upwards of 20 MPs were killed. You are repeating western propaganda peddled by Sahan.
The hysteria over the Eritrean trained troops is because they are thousands and not trained by the west or nato and would eliminate al shabaab thwarting western plans for the region.
Jamal Osman is definitely alphabet boy, that focker always gets access to AS while local Somali reporters would get killed for even trying.
