I understand SSC was once an attempt to make a federal member state which included Dhulbahante and Warsangali territory in Sool, Sanaag, and Cayn. But the current government being referred to as the SSC government only governs and represents Dhulbahante territory. So why is the state it represents not referred to as khatumo which is historically what the dhulbahante called the state that governs all dhulbahante territory. Also how do warsangali people feel about this new governing body being referred to as SSC?
I myself am dhulbahante and have been following this whole conflict since shit popped of with the Isaaq at the beginning of this year. Normally I just read posts and comments anonymously, but I felt like I had to make an account to ask this question because I couldn't find an answer.
