Most heroin users may have smoked weed but most weed smokers don't go on to injecting smack in alleyways. Legalisation of all drugs and an emphasis on treatment rather than punishment is the way to go.

It puts the idea in people's heads that recreational drugs are a fun thing to do. It introduces brains to highs and it teaches people that getting high is a fun thing to do so SOME move on to other drugs while others who are more cautious remain on weed and some others try MDMA/ectasy/speed/cocaine etc thinking they won't get addicted but they wind up with health and social issues they didn't bargain for. even if they think they're not addictive Heroin has a terrible reputation and that's why most drug users steer clear of it.

If you want to vote left wing in the West you have to by de facto agree to all their degeneracy (drugs, gay propaganda, moral relativism, postmodernism, being apologetic to Arabs etc.). In Europe the conservative parties are pretty liberal, it's illegal to be homophobic here and that's a good thing. Also racism is illegal so everyone has to be treated equally. I support conservatives because they're fair and cut welfare, get people to work.

The contemporary right wing parties of Western Europe are all economically right wing. They are far from socialist.

When you say some you mean a very negligible amount of people. Heroin is very addictive that's a given but many of it's negative consequences a precisely because of it's prohibited status.

Anyway the War on Drugs has been going on for over 40 years. Prohibition doesn't work it's time we tried a more sensible scientific based approach.

I don't agree with the tactics used on the war on drugs, it was bound to fail. Methadone addiction is real, replacements just don't help in the long term. Teaching people about how drugs work in your system (also exactly how they wreck your body and brain) and what the long term effects of it are in school, in science class would work better.
