According to UNICEF Somalia research Articles there is a clear trend in education levels throughout the country. The South central regions have the lowest rate of enrollment and have the worst quality education.

In the next 10 years the gap will widen between Banaadir, Waqooyi and Puntland compared to other Somalis. Naturally these regions will be the wealthiest.
