This is a better background story for the Joker than The Killing Joke. Patrick Bateman would be a better Joker than Batman

The main character of American Psycho makes is a great backstory for the Joker. He makes a lot of really good points. He’s way too articulate to just be an unsuccessful stand up comic. I could if he was a comedian like George Carlin, but he was more like Dane Cook. I didn’t like Patrick Bateman’s portrayal of Batman.
