@Abba Sadacha Did Oromos contribute anything to the Aksumite kingdom or is this another we wuz

The presence of Oromo names back then and afterwards was some of the proof that some oromo elders used to prove oromos were there then, but as far being the founders of it, I don't know to be honest, but of course, you have those who exaggerate from our side, and those who hate anything Oromo from the opposing side; the key is finding the balanced middle ground and being impartial, if at all possible.

No they played no role whatsoever. Oromos were no way near Axum lol during Axums heyday Oromos were in Southern Ethiopia and Kenya.

This is a map of historical sites in Eritrea/Ethiopia. The red dots are pre Axumite and Axumite sites, the furthest south is in Nazret which is firmly within the Tigray region

Also Axum stopped being pagan in 4th century and converted all of its people to Christianity in the 5/6th century yet Oromo was worshipping Waaq in the 16th 😂

professor Muhammad Hassan proved in his book that we were in christian abyssinia in at least the 13th century, and some became christian in the north, so the 16th century propaganda is nonsense
