The new president of Somalia

Dr. Abdiweli Gas will be the next Emir of Somalia.

His best opportunity was 2012.

I highly doubt we will see him in an election again. Maybe he will become a minister or ambassador or hold a post.

The guy has released an autobiography, highly doubt he would have done that if he felt he hasn’t reached his political peak.

He hasn’t declared and yes the VP will take over.
President Deni hasn’t even expressed interest in the post but he already has a better chance than all of the opposition candidates. They refuse to back one candidate and some of them are N&N Trojan horses. They will split votes which only benefits Farmaajo.

President Deni is courting the international community and making sure he has the votes before stepping in the ring.

Deni assembled his campaign team. @SOULSEARCHING is right on the money again

Soul, is your informant an MP or a someone in government?

Mudane Deni agenda has always been Villa Somalia, I might not be the most pro-Deni but I believe he has what it takes to sit in the kursi.

With that out of the way I wish the next PL president put PL first above the Konfurian circus.

Deni won't be an upgrade on farmaajo.
He'll be heavily pro PL, and biased towards his state.

This stupidity of letting a man who has been president in one of the regions running for office needs to stop. Today he's loyal to his state, how can he be loyal to the nation tomorrow?

Haven't Somalis heard of conflict of interest?

We don’t have much choice. Farmaajo is an embarrassed man on the international stage. Hated by too many people. His election could be the beginning of a civil war. Let’s ignore how useless he’s been, just his return is a national security risk.

Mucarad are full of N&N Trojan horses and are split. Deni has the big bucks from UAE bloc, has excellent relations with the IC and he’s got a head start on all the opposition with senate votes.

Deni has shown a lot of competence in Puntland and grew up in the South. He’s also already a business man so is less affected by the corruption. Lastly we need someone who takes Sool and Sanaag seriously once again and stops our war on Jubbaland. It’s ridiculous that we’ve had two Presidents fighting the only man capable of leading JL

In fact, nobody should be allowed to run for office unless they have proven to be successful at it.
Why should anybody vote for a man who only has PROMISES? When I can vote for a man who has a proven track record of successful leadership?

LMAO

Puntland is always reaching out to other Federal States to assist. What you don't realise is that the success and peace of other Federal states helps us achieve our goal of autonomous prosperity.

Here is a brief insight into how Puntland behaves towards other Federal States:

Somalia should change its constitution in regards to who can run for office.

This should be the new system:
  1. Only a successful mayor can run for Governor of a region
  2. Only a successful governor can run for President of a Federal State
  3. Only a successful President of a Federal State can run for President of Somalia.

Why should an unknown man with deep pockets (backing from foreign nations), run for highest office? This person should prove they have experience and they have evidence of efficient leadership.
I will not vote for anybody who cannot prove what they are capable of. It is foolish and naive.

Let these people climb from the bottom to the top and earn their positions instead of buying their way into power.

@SOULSEARCHING has been incredible with her Kheyre prediction, even though I read somewhere that Deni has the best chance to go up against Farmajo, her reaffirmation is something not to take lightly :)
