This is my pet interest, if the FGS could accomplish one thing it’s to get everyone signed up to national ID, combining that with digital ID that would be used to deliver public services. Connect this ID to employment, access to banking, telecoms, travel.

Another would be use of AI as a governance system.

If they added biometric authentication to the IDs, it would be more or less a type of census as you can’t register people twice and get an accurate number of Somalia’s demographics.
