Have you been to Somalia? Hardly anyone speaks Arabic there and you can take ur arab bullshit elsewhere.If your language is Arabic and your culture is also Arab, then you are an Arab; it's as simple as that.

The young today speak English.
This move by Senegal will only make Senegalese hate Islam as they will feel their culture is being arabized.

So having frencg as official language was ok but changing it to arabic = cooked

They have multiple ethnicities who speak different languages choosing Wolof would give an unfair advantage to that group large groups like Fulani and other might oppose that move I think Arabic is not a bad choice as a secondary language

You just want to rile the murtards up. Arabic is a wonderful language and if Senegal wants to make it their official language as a multi-ethnic state that’s great for Senegalese.

Then they should list all the native languages as official languages, and then write 'Arabic' as the second language. But for whatever reason, they did this. I don't see it ending well.

Studies show that when children are taught in their native language, they learn faster. French in schools, Wolof at home, now adding Arabic. Good way to waste children education time.

it’s true but there’s nothing wrong diversying and learning more languages espcially at a child level west learning is super easy.
Scandinavians and other european people are trilingual. There’s nothing wrong with learning more languages at it also makes you smarter and studies shows it’s significantly impacts the brain positively
