What's your thoughts about the Kurds wanting to build their own country? Will that ever happen?

In my opinion they deserve to have their own country because of the brutalitets they had to endure by their neighbors. They already have their own regions in Iraq, Iran, Turkey and Syria, so why can't they have a country?
And their regions are breathtakingly beautiful.
