There are 4 main routes leading out of Xamar. Balcad, Afgooye, Jazeera and Ceel macaan/Warsheikh. All are built except for the last.

That embassy is a base. They hit the jackpot.

It doesn’t make sense to have an embassy in the middle of the town’s historical district. The architecture is out of place, and it occupies prime beachfront property that should be used for public purposes. Moreover, it’s located next to historic minarets and graves. Additionally, the UAE is also building their embassy next door. What makes it worse there's not a single jetty or dock for fishers in boats in the whole city and the old once are there to ruin out of access for the public they could've made that are into a nice board walk port dock for fishers in a historic district.
