There is no need for all this to be the "new hormuud" because any comparable alternative to their telecom would have people flocking to them. Everyone knows how well connected they are to the khawarij.

If people would've switched from Hormuud, they would have done it long ago. They already have other sim cards from different networks which have better rates as well as a better network and better mobile money. It confuses me on why nobody uses them solely though. The only thing it provided was the 61 and now that is gone from Hormuud.

They can make the switch to any of the other copycat systems that don't impose a 300$ limit and are exactly the same otherwise. You can't transfer from one to another which is what is keeping them back.
