Arsenal is behind these killings. Apparently, they've been taking down anyone who was a member or took office in the SL govt. They usually do the killing at night. And since the current officials have enough security, ex-officials don't have as much. This gives them a perfect opportunity to attack.
Just think of how they kill the elders who select parliamentarians into the federal government in the South. The killings in LA follows a similar pattern: Being an ex or current member of SL govt makes you a target. This is confirmed. And there seems to be a significant presence of AS hit-men in LA.
Other observations: 1) All of the killings are happening right after maghrib and evening prayers. The people are getting taken down as soon as they leave the mosque; 2) nearly all of the assassins are teenage or young boys who are shooting people on the head. In other words, highly-trained young assassins.
I was very surprised and could not believe when I was told AS called a guy who owns businesses in Xudun district (60 kms north of LA) and demanded him to declare his lat year's income and pay their tax (of course it is extortion). He rejected it but then he has to make sure he doesn't inform anyone when he is traveling to LA.
That should tell you the Arsenal infiltration in Sool region.

The previous victim before the latest one was a journalist who publicly denounced the Arsenal attack on Villa Rose hotel in Mogadishu in late November 2022. People who knew the victim stated he got calls before his death to take down his criticism and also follow their other demands. The victim, who was a young university graduate, refused to heed their calls and told them he would continue to speak on their genocidal attacks on innocent Somali victims.

Their presence has been long reported, starting from the Al-Itihad era. Even when they attacked the Bari region, people say they used to use Sool, especially LA, as a logistics hub, of course hidden. And Arsenal is an offshoot of Al-Itihad. So their presence has long been reported.
I hope the Somaliland government fixes the problem in Las Anod and pacify its city
@Roorigeg AS to infiltrate Sool they have get through Nugaal and North Mudug which is impossible or even DDS.
I have a feeling this is political situation, if it’s not AS who could it be?
AS claims who they killed within a few hours, they have not claimed this and there’s definitely no “Wilayaat” or whatever they call it for Sool. It only occurs in South Som.

They kick reer RX womens and babies in mid of night out from their homes for assassination. Idoor will not stop until reer Lasscanood kick them out.
Very interesting perhaps these AS hitmen are from Burco region? They also cause trouble in Bosaso
