Each month FAO Somalia surveys each region's markets to find out how much basic commodities cost.
FAO agents go to as many stores as possible in each market town to find the average price of Vegetable Oil, sorghum etc...
They then calculate how much it would cost, in cash dollars, to sustain a family of 6.
