How many tanks did PL have before this war? I thought it was only a few.

RM + CC have total of 24 spread out in Galkayo jeexdin godod ceelbardale dhinowda bases. 19 are in good function the rest are used as spare parts and artillery. Galkayo airport have 4 as artillery aimed at xafaada qashin qubka.

Cismaan maxamuud have 6 and Ciise 2 based in Bosaso and Garowe. Leelkase i believe have several non functional used as artillery.

How many tanks did PL have before this war? I thought it was only a few. Just read your previous post and you're saying we had more than 20 or am I reading it wrong?

I knew before USC war in the 90s they didn't have tanks and then after USC war the hawiye lost all their tanks from siyad barre govt, they inherited a-lot from there. Also Abdillahi I think donated 3 tanks to cadaado to keep ICU away from Galkacyo becuz he took lots of Puntites to Hamar to establish the SFG.

@Saciid Bidar seems like u got local intel. What's the deal with the PSF. Wat sort of capabilities do they have? I saw they had drone surveillance in Bosaso conflict and they got american humvees, what other toys do they have? They patrolling harardheere-hobyo, they were created in 2003 but their so much silence about them and media black out kkkkk. But their effective only 3 attacks by terrorists since 2003 till now, while the later NISA, amisom, etc it's daily. Shabab don't fear them like they do PSF.

All i know from my cousin who left PSF is that they have several drones and couple of MRAPS backed by the many teknikals ilaahay haa uu naxariisto Cade brought. From personal observation i believe Cisman have most Zuu of MJs special ones called sadeex dhuumood and mortars + jaqaaqs not to mention their specialised sniper units that caused ruckus in goojade and galgala since they mostly fight in mountainous terrain.

As for now ilma Diyaano have the US donated drones and APCs left the rest are under the command of Col xaaji kheyr. Almost all mountain ranges in Bari have a Cisman M base where most of their hardware are located especially around Calmadow and bosaso airport.

It is easy to recognise Osman vehicles since they are mostly white and their uniforms always desert khaki while east mudug use light green khakis with light green vehicles. Official PL defense forces use woodgreen camouflage with the vehicles having a red stripe.

I'm no expert it's just personal observations and info from family as almost all serve mostly in east Mudug, Galgala, magaclay and Galkayo.
