If you mean fooqyo, they existed in Hargeisa before the 90's but were all levelled to the ground. Such apartment building would be nothing new to Hargeisa.

Good to see larger windows and glass cladding on buildings which is contributing to the aesthetics of the city, not sure about the roller shutters though but they can be removed.

Need to do somthing about the sheer number of cars the traffic is insane.

Times are changing thanks to diaspora Somali architects expect to see more windows both in commercial and residential properties.

The only crucial missing from thing in the development of the capital is water. Water availability and distribution to household is poor and undeveloped.
