1. Hasna Doreh
One of the most iconic anti colonial campaigns had a female leader in one of its units. Hasna Doreh was wife of Sayidka. AUN, May Allah have mercy on her.
2. Bati del Wambara
Bati del Wamabara of Adal Sultanate (AUN). Was married to Ahmed gurey (Aun) and later on to his succesor Nur ibn Mujahid(Aun). Played important part in the reviving of Jihad against the Ethiopian Empire that killed Ahmed Gurey. The Ethiopian emperor that killed gurey got beheaded later on, on her orders.
3. Asli Hassan Abade
In 1976, Asli became the First female millitary pilot in Africa and the muslim world

The villain herself..Bit mythical, but I tend to believe there is some truth in her existence as our neighbors the Oromos also tell stories of a similar female figure.
5. Fadumo Sarjelle of Ajuraan
Faduma Sarjelle(Aun) (Somali: Faadumo Sarjeelle Gareen) was a princess of the House of Gareen, the ruling dynasty of the Ajuran Sultanate. The Sultanate ruled over large parts of the Horn of Africa during the Middle Ages.[1] Sarjelle was also the mother of Abgal Ismaan, the clan forefather of the Abgaal clan.[2]
