South Sudan is over 60% prime farmland, they have even less of an excuse than Somalia to be starving. This is probably engineered by Salva Kiir against the Nuer. He wants to wipe them out of states they share with the Dinka.

Famine is never because of environmental conditions. It's always the failure of the government to care for their population.

Not chocking at all. I know it's rude but it was expected. Right after their independence they transcended into a civil war. Sad. May Allah help them and ease their pain.
