so according to this they looked like an intermediate between upper paleolithic european and haya (bantu group) @Apollo if the natufians were around today would you say that they would look not much different from a mulatto individual in terms of facial features?

I don't think craniology is that reliable (often Somalis appear near Europeans or modern MENAs on that - which they don't resemble in real life at all), especially for very ancient groups whose bones are often damaged and not complete (Natufian remains are fragmentary). It is more useful for modern groups.

The closest living population today to the Natufians are Bedouin Arabians. So most likely that is what they vaguely looked like (especially on soft tissue).

Lastly, the MENA ancestors of Somalis were closer to the Naqada Egyptians than to the Natufians. Somalis don't descend directly from Natufians, only Arabians/Semites do.

What’s the genetic difference between natufians and naqada Egyptians?

More Ancestral North African component most likely, less Eurasian. This ANA component is still being researched and isn't fully understood yet.

That Taforalt and Afalou group on that chart also likely had high ANA.

We can't say for sure since nobody is the same as people of thousands of years ago.

Some Somalis still have that phenotype today, just like some Somalis have somewhat Nilote looking phenotypes. Both are still present in Somalis to some extent.
