I don't think that's the reason. I think it's because we as Somalis are known to be more religious and conservative to other Muslim diasporas.

Also we are more lenient towards our women compared to Arabs and south Asians. We aren't as controlling and they like that. Compared to their cultures that have a lot of honour killings and other things.
