If you were president, what are your top 5 development projects to transform Somaliland/Somalia?

We have a lot of good ideas in SSpot so lets share them here

I would do this

1. Build roads in major cities.

2. Build a power plant.

3. Build hospitals.

4. Register all companies, NGOs and foreign workers to tax them.

5. Invest in agriculture and food production.

critical Infrastructure -
infrastructure development such as building roads that link major population centers, good motorways

Energy-focus on renewables like solar and wind which are plentiful in Somaliland- but also coal power plants for cheap affordable electricity. right now SL has some of the most expensive electricity bills in the world
agriculture (fishery included) - focus on self-sustainability when it comes to our food- includes high tariffs on certain food imports



these measures will enhance growth rates and potential export

Mudane Futurist would transform the region

Build dams and water treatment plants. I would also develop sewage systems to divert water all across the country to be cleaned. That would be my main priority as we get lots of water especially near the jubbaland region and it all goes to waste.
