Women marry 'nice' guys and sleep with a dog on the side. And on top of that get pregnant and claim the child is her husbands.

The second type was when a man would say to his wife, when she became pure following her menses: Send for So-and-so and have relations with him. Then her husband would stay away from her and not touch her until it became clear that she had got pregnant from that man with whom she was having relations. Sounds rather mythical tbh. Every culture conveniently has a story of an unjust ruler doing this to signify the reprehensibleness of a leader. In Europe, it was called Droit du seigneur or prima nocta.
