Khat is going to keep flowing into Somalia regardless.

Most of the khat kingpins are Somalis in Nairobi who benefit a lot from the khat trade
A few years ago, Formajo's brother controlled all the Khat that came from Ethiopia, then banned all the Khat from Kenya.
The government Has to find a way around this, we are making Kenya Rich with Millions per day.

Simple ban khat, we have a millions of zombies chewing drugs even the soldiers are high on it.
All the Presidents who allowed Khat in Somalia are responsible for their crimes whether it be Faarmajo or Hassan.
It may start a civil war, as we know Isaaq rebelled against Siad barre when he banned khat . Political stability is key.

It’s a condition for debt relief I believe. At least with HSM he allows all khat so can’t lock it up for his brother like Farmaajo and make ridiculous money.
Khat is such a major import that the taxes from it are very high in Somalia. It’s also easily taxable for the government as it arrives at airports. We as a country are going to be addicted to it economically, forget the average person.

It doesn't matter whether we allow Faarmajo's brother or a random Somali in Nairobi. Khat needs to be banned. Siyaad Barre banned it, ICU banned it but these filthy politicians want to keep it because it lines their pockets.
People say Rooble /IOG daughter controll it. There’s no way HSM just gone allow a khat free trade someone has 100% been awarded the contract.

What are you talking about? Khat was never banned in Somalia let’s be honest. The whole place was addicted to it even back in the 70s and 80s. He tried in the 80s but there were riots in SL and his government was collapsing by then.
If the government tried banning it there’d be massive protests. If the Kacaan couldn’t ban it, no chance the fragile FGS can.
At least he attempted to ban it (unsuccessfully) they just want to ignore it. They make speech about it but then make deals for it. These people need to be kicked out of office.
There are things you can do overnight with Islamism, Communism, Fascism, etc that would take decades under a non-ideological government.
If AS can ban khat with their small numbers im sure its possible for my country Jubbaland to implement that one day. Time we learn to be better then our adversaries
Your Country Jubba Land? lmao first of all Jubbaland is a State, and Second Kenya Owns Jubba Admins and until Kenyans are Removed from the Jubbas I wouldnt expect any Khat ban.
