I think Somaliland can dictate all the terms for coming together so long as they drop this independence stuff.

Better than claiming to be oromo and handing it all to Ethiopia. Besides the people of awdal, sool, lasacanood all want to be part of Somalia.
If every region of the proposed Somaliland votes for independence I'm all for it. 2 cities don't make a country.

The US wants to operate Berbera port literally that's what the meetingis about.

FGS choosing a non confrontational approach doesn't mean SL can dictate any talks. Of course we should listen and compromise but in the end a qabiil can't dictate a whole country. 30+ years and they couldn't even get our enemies to recognize them(although Kenya used them as leverage). FM of SL will be the outcome but I don't know how they will get Khatumo to co-sign.

SL is at its weakest point, and the government of Somalia is at its strongest. I think the time where SL could dictate terms was from 1991-2012. I don’t see SL having any leverage anymore

Since the nation is 4.5 hawiye/Isaaq must rotate and share irir quota in parliament and govt without disturbing any darod quota.

Even 4.5 must be reformed as Irir Samaale gettin 61 seat and hawiye/dir clans share 61 seats since they operate as 1 clan in politics why give em 2 portions. 4.5 has backfired on them not knowing me a son of majerten will point this out to Somalis as they want to double dip or eat their cake both ways.

I don't send a cent unless they show me how they will be independent because I will die and they will die if relying on hand outs. I ask come with an idea and I will send u what u need and bring together family to chip in as long as it creates your financial independence not be dependent forever.

It went south cause they don't want to work bro and live on hand outs. Explain to them first the dangers of this mindset u need to show them their harming themselves in the long run. Show them once u die and your family what will he do? Show him the kids raised in the west won't send a cent to them either as their going to be lost in the west having no loyalty or even language skill to communicate with somalia so they will be like we staying in the west and throwing ourselves among them..

Plus we don't do diaspora kids and linkages to the homeland which hodan naleeye got killed for trust me their nothing like jews or irish as these ppl will merge into where ever they live forgetting all those in the past who got them where they are
