Xalimos, what do you think of Faraxs with long hair

Hair reaching his chin. Do you think it's fine only if it's let down or do you like it tied up (eg ponytail, manbun, half up half down etc)?

Wallahi, Somali people have beautiful hair and you'll never see it because a woman keeps it veiled and men will keep it buzzed

They look nice with it Mashallah.

Thanks for the response. I think it's unfair that men can show off nice Somali hair and women can't. What do you think?
You’re welcome. I agree, Somali women that don’t wear hijab still dress modest. I don’t see the issue but different lives..

Exactly this is an important point. Hijab is the not the line between modesty or immodesty. I believe in wearing modestly whether men or women is something to do with dignity and respect of oneself. The biggest evidence has the misuse of hijab rn. But again this is my personal opinion. There are people who don’t really understand modesty, and they just want to wear anything that makes them look cute. So it is a personality variation.

Any style that makes you comfortable. You don’t need to seek anyone’s validation. Personally I like my hair up, inside my home, I still wear hijab. I don’t like letting it down, I don’t like the feeling of hair on my neck lol

So true. Lol when I use to wear tight clothes with hijab no one said anything. But they see my ankle all hell break loose 🤣

During lockdown I grew my hair out to my shoulders but eventually my schedule simply didn't allow me time to take care of it properly so I cut it. Now since Ramadan I have began growing it again.

Do women like long hair on men or is bald/short cut more preferable?

We going back to the natural hairstyles Somalis use to have.

Unfortunately, when I was young, I was allowed to grow lol
