Islan Mahamed was the most respected Isim when Puntland was founded. His Nugal Highest Isim. He said something here in his speech to Issa Mahmoud, which was ahead of his time and being felt today. He told the bad ones to leave us alone so the good nugaalis can enjoy peace and development.
I want PL to do this also, why do a few 'hundred' people across our region have to ruin the peace and development of 99% of the good people? Why don't we begin this social revolution which I call for where the corrupt and criminal are named and shamed on facebook, website, media. Where no-one marries them and treats them like untouchables.
Where no-one allows them in mosques. Infact we should create a clan for them named beesha 'Dambiile' and let them marry each other and live like lower-caste among society. This would put fear in the hearts of anyone being criminal or doing corruption, they will know what awaits them. This is real social accountability that can end the social rot and decay.
Then we should take the hardworking clans like madhiban-tumaal-bantu and ask them to help us on how to make our locals follow in their path of productivity.
