Would you homeschool your children? Why or why not?

Honestly the way things are going in Canada with teaching children all this LGBT, gender identity balaayo, I feel like if I have kids in the country, I would seriously consider homeschooling. I would put them in dugsi and sports which would give them a chance to socialize with their peers. But otherwise I would rather educate them with proper values and morals than let them practically be raised by cadaan gaalo and their mindset. Then come home one day talking about their pronouns are “they/them” lmaooo hell nah

Home school kids are weird due to the lack of socialization with other kids and many Somali kids are already weird due to being stuck at home way more often than the other kids. You'll just have super weird kids. Extracurricular activities a few hours a week doesn't solve that.

I think a change of location is better. A more Islamic and conservative country would be a better choice.

I have been to private Islamic school before. The quality of education there is trash and makes public school look elitist. Teachers give students A+ if the student asks or if the teacher knows your parents. It's only useful for religious education but you can learn that outside of Islamic school for much less.

Public schools are terrible but every person I have met that was homeschooled is weird and maladjusted. I tutor kids on the side in math and the kids who go to Islamic school don’t know basic math. I’m currently teaching a high school junior how to add fractions InshaAllah I make enough money in the future so i can send my kids to good private schools with good education where the parents have more of a say in the curriculum.
