Would you hide your mental health challenges when speaking to a suitor?

I'm gonna be a hell of a open book when getting to know a candidate. So that when he marries me and says "what the f*ck?!":faysalwtf: I'll use the fact that he knew this info before marriage against him :shaq:

It's haaram to hide such things. If a woman lies about her mental health issues and the marriage has not been consummated, the man is entitled that the mahr be returned and if it is consummated her relatives must pay up.

Correct me if im wrong.

I have anxiety as well and time to time depression. Nothing crazy but enough to keep me stalled in life. Dhikr dua, and salah helps a lot.

What do you consider mental health challenges as I've noticed what some people consider mental health issues is not what others do

I saw some a topic online of a Pakistani rejecting someone when she admitted she had anxiety and depression.

I don't think anyone has to admit to having anxiety and/or depression. I think it's normal to be worried or sad sometimes.

But if someone has something like schizophrenia then I think the potential spouse should be informed.

I think it's only in modern times that depression and anxiety would be considered in the same category as something like actually being insane.
