Suugo thinking mode i think this is only really relevant topic in the diaspora because a lot of somalinimo is indeed taught by mother. Because most stuff is taught by the mother and the father main job is to earn money and as a backup discipliner. Also from what i observe mother woud be better at instilling sense of patriotism because patriotism is an emotional knowledge and because women are "more emotional" yacni in touch with emotions they would be better at teaching it than men

But when you go back home hidde becomes a very important aspect of life in terms of qabiil and wider community upholding your rights. The rights of a somali will only be upheld if they can determine that you are who you say you are and only the father can help with that. In such condition the cultured upbringing is not really as important as safety and security and the culture can just be learned from all around you Thus the mothers role here diminishes

This is where i believe lies the conflicting mindsets between ragga who prioritising safety and security for family and dumarka who prioritising proper cultured and educated upbringing. And in the diaspora the dumar mindset triumphs and the ragga madax adag who do not adapt to the environment are left to languish in their misplaced notions
