Would you consider a farax/xalimo with tattoos for marriage

I’m talking to a guy right now and he has some tattoos…two on his arms, one behind his ear and another on his chest. He said he got them when he was mad young and not practicing much. He says he regrets them now but he doesn’t want to go through the pain of lasering them off. Im not sure whether I should take him serious though..my parents would flip if I brought a guy with tats home. He’s a nice guy otherwise. What would you do?

If he is solid otherwise in all other areas except having tattoos then he should get them off. Little pain aint nothing. No practising muslim should have tattoos and Im sure he knows that.

Allah is all forgiving Alhamdulillah. It is up to you. If I was in such a situation I would ask for them to get them removed even if painful, as Our community is very judgemental
