That is what it is worth according to the owner. Personally, I wouldn't but would rather buy a property in UK with that money = better rental income and the house value will reach millions in the future.

Nice house. Delusional pricing though. Reminds me of the Darussalam houses in Mogadishu---which are all uglier than this one but decent by Somali standards---they trying to sell for 200k+ in an isolated area outside the city near Al Shabaab territory. Only a very dumb person would buy such properties for those prices, but TBH Somalis can be dumb so these businessmen might make their money's worth

There is no way that house should be worth 320,000. Why are house prices so expensive when running water is not 24/7 in hargeisa as @NotAjnabi stated. This is coming from a person who family is from Somaliland, hargeisa.

I would take my money elsewhere, most of these guys be coming out with prices from their ass

They are not (since no one is buying houses at that price in the market you can build your own bungalow villa for $20,000 or less) however land indeed is getting expensive.

I don't know. I've recently been hearing that Hargeisa houses are becoming really expensive maybe it's the land. My father currently owns 5 houses and is giving them rents to other people and my father told me that the prices of buying or renting houses in Hargeisa has increased alot over the recent years.

Maybe in Jigjigayar. In other Hargeisa areas, you can rent an entire house with 4-5 bedrooms for $250-300 a month.

Loool abti, my dad only owns 2 houses in that neighborhood. He owns 3 more in North Hargeisa and 2 in central Hargeisa. Funny thing is he makes his clients to rent atleast 500 to 600 dollars. I don't know but hopefully when the economy in Somaliland goes well, the expensive prices can drop inshallah.

No, Somaliland is a conservative country were all the daqan and deen is found. Maybe you're talking about Mogadishu or Bossaso, but not here. Also, Hargeisa isn't becoming a shithole but actually progressing. It's just the house prices in Hargeisa skyrocketed couple years ago.

There are no nightclubs here or else the place will be decimated and yes, prostitution did exist especially back then when the Oromos came over but after Silyaano kicked them out, the prostitution rate significantly decreased and Muuse Biixi hopefully will kick the rest out, inshallah.

stop sugar coating... Somaliland is the most liberal state in Somalia particularly the eastern cities like boorama. Don't be embarrassed I'm just stating established facts here. "ITS THE BLOODY OROMOS NOT US" lmao..... don't be embarrassed just admit there are poor women selling themselves.. hehe

Boosao and Mogadishu might have nightclubs but there are no prostitution lol. Djibouti also your neighbours I heard got many tourists specifically going to have "fun time" with afar and Djibouti women..

Did you know Burco is the most conservative city in Somaliweyn? Where is that located? Yeah, in south Somalia, right!

Prositution is fucking illegal in Somaliland so is nightclubs so if Somaliland police forces ever found these out, best believe they will shut them down or arrest these s. No Somali women are selling their bodies, stop lying lol. They're Oromos and the prostitution rate greatly decreased after the Oromos were deported and I know the politics going on in Somaliland so don't tell me crap. :camby:

my older brother bought the three bedroom ones for 75,000 early from my father who bought multiple units befor it got constructed ,swimming pool in the back .running water and plumbin works great .there are gardens, children playing areas ,school is walking distance and a hospital beign contstructed in the compound,is gated neighbourhood with security 24/7 .all in all is not bad at all .there are even Turkish ,pakis and arabs who work in xamar that are living there.is in the outskirt of the city is not that isolated .you should go and visit see it for yourself .

people have told me... I'm sure there are some but they do it hidden.
no i should know some of those police officers are serious with their work, some are kool like my cousins eho are in the force .when i visited xamar most of the diasporas rent out hotel halls and invite others to bashaal and give hotel managers and security good tip hotel owners are making alot of money doing this .to say there are night clubs in mogdisho is absurd.
