Walahi he is probably the 5th traveler who cursed his/her experience of Djibouti
- Price jacking.
- Heat.
- Military Bases galore.
- Cultural Confusion.
- Extreme poverty at every turn that makes Somalia look fancy at least aesthetically.
I heard the price jacking is/was due to the military bases coming to Djibouti, is this true?

Most Djiboutians just want peace, kicking out a dictator can easily bring a decade of civil war in this region. So djiboutians just don't want to risk it. Plus every time someone tried to kick out IOG, he failed everyone is scared of the consequences. We even monitor everything we say in public.Crazy thing is most Djiboutians ik support IOG and don't really want reform. I'm guessing cuz ciise want to retain the kursi since if it became a democracy they could lose it.
@Odayga_Jabuuti soo gala, am I correct in my assessment
Lol Basra of course they have imaan the Muslim Somali isse do. Not sure about the soldiers and canfaarMaybe the Djiboutians are copy of the French? They are not hospital like Somalis. And they dont have the Imaan of Somalis. A little Imaan and hospitality goes a long way for a vlog traveler

So it's more about fear than anything else.
Drew Binsky even said in his video, that the police was monitoring him.
And IOG cares more about his isse sub clan that controls the country than isse in general.
