does a skinny person want a fat person? Does a tall woman want a short man? Does an attractive person want an ugly person?
I’m tall myself and want a tall girl, Any girl shorter than 5’5 is pushing it.
You should change your statement to “everyone wants what is conventionally attractive, so someone who isn’t conventionally attractive would obviously want what they’re not”

I don't understand men do not discriminate like women.
to be honest for short men it’s more than just attractiveness. They’re just not respected as man, period.
They have trouble in work places moving up and taking leadership positions and are often ridiculed for their height. Something they can’t control at all. It’s also pretty accepted in society too.
When you see an average height/tall man get mad or freak out in public people don’t say anything about his height. If a short man does it people say it’s because he’s short he’s so mad. Now all of a sudden short men are attributed as always mad and bitter, to the point that any negative quality they may portray is attributed to their stature.
Maybe if you’re 5’6 or something it’s bad enough, but imagine a grown who’s 5’2. How bad do you think he’d have it? He’s not just short for a man, he’s even short for a woman.
How can you not expect him to be insecure of his height when that’s literally the first thing people notice and will bring up in anything whether it’s an argument or a conversation. Imagine being a man and thinking “no matter what I do, I’ll always be 5’3”, that would suck and definitely make you feel less of a man.
