In case you didn’t know, Tiktok is an international version of the Chinese app Douyin.
The Chinese version of Tiktok is completely different to the international version. First of all there is a time restriction so children can’t use Tiktok for more than 40 minutes a day. The content is also completely different. In China, only educational videos are shown promoting engineering, maths, technology, architecture, music and similar interests that increase the creativity in the users and help improve their skill set.
Even if you’re an atheist, your children should be banned from Tiktok, which is why the app is designed completely differently in China. Now as Muslims, it’s even worse for us as it’s corrupting the deen of the youth and normalising degeneracy.
But how can you ban your children from using an app that all their friends, classmates, and society uses whilst living in the West? They will get brainwashed into thinking they are being oppressed. It’s a tough situation.
