Because recreational skydiving is like putting life in danger unnecssarily even though if you skydiving for military purpouse its encouraged
Althpugh now i reread the fatwa its saying makruuh for most likely safe but haraam for if there is solid chance you will get hurt or die but you do anyway for recreational. This is the reason why extreme sports like doing redbull tiktoks are haraam. Although the whole thing with skydiving is that you spend ages before hand checking all your gear so that you will be safe calaa ugu badan oo xaal bi'idnillaah.
So as far as i know it isn't haraam to skydive but they say dont anyway so i will be a good boy and listen
