Will you be the strict parent or lenient?

A bit of both .

Only two rules they can never break No drugs no alcohol .

But they can go to movies and hang out with friends if they do their homework and get good grades.

Raise them how my parents raised me. Love them dearly, teach them right from wrong and life skills, be there for them when they need me and trust them. And probably just yell and inconvenience their life when they f*ck up real bad. I want not to even yell but I'm worried about coddling them too much and they turn into monsters like some cadaan kids. We'll see.

Strict, those laid back parents got their kids doing all types of bs infront of them. I'm gonna be strict but in a way to not come off as one if that makes sense.

If you do it in a obvious fashion you'll become that dad or mother that gets cooked by their kid on social media, many such cases.

I’ll be in between, I’ll let them go out, see their friends, but also guide them.
They will attend Quran classes, and also Islamic school. No gaalo school.
I’ll make them responsible , teach them to clean, cook, do their beds and they will master this by the age of 10.
Boy and girl.

I’m a generally laid back person, so lenient.
Beenta jooji warya, you are NOT a laid back person.

Religious Somalis tend to be the most judgmental people. Your probably the type that shames Somali girls you see that don't wear hijab in public. :ulyin: Stop the act.

Lenient. I want to be best friends with my child so that they won’t be afraid to come to me with anything. Strict parents create sneaky kids.

I am not judgemental about anyone. It’s your choice if you wanna be an atheist, gay, not wear a hijab etc.

You clearly haven’t seen many of my posts on SSpot.

@Sheikh Google come take a look at this nacas.

I'll warn them the first time that I will beat them next time if they keep up with the fuckries.

But also I would speak to them often and give them encouraging words to reassure them so that they don't need validation from outside.

If the kid is a bad breed from early, Imma send that yute to the psychs to see if there's any adhd or personality disorders on the yute.

Other than that, I think I would just freestyle this parent thing like how most parents do

Long story short, both
