Inshallah, we are more than capable of becoming an economical power. It will take lots of hard work and time, but it's important to believe :)

Not in this century, somalia has a literacy rate of 36% 30,% lower what is needed to sustain a growing economy

I’ve come to the realisation that we will never be like any first world country. We’ll be lucky to be like Jordan or Morocco in the next 50 years. Somalia is ruled by corrupt men who only care for their pockets. There is terrorism and extremist ideology everywhere and Somalis hate each other based off of some fake daddy lineages. Just look at this forum the people who are the future generation make fun of other Somalis being killed raped and whenever any other calamity befalls Somalis it instantly becomes FKD material. The average Somali could care less about improving their country they only want the leader to be from their clan and to watch other Somalis suffering. There is no education and each and every qabil sees the other as a foreigner even if it’s a sub clan from the same qabil. Take South Korea for example after the Korean War all the kids were put into education whilst the adults made factories and built up the country with the international loans. Try this in somalia and some won’t attend others will get positions based on their qabil and the money meant for rebuilding will be pocketed. The only Somali country which can ever be successful is Djibouti, but that’s not happening until IOG leaves which is very unlikely at the moment. The only way somalia can improve is through a dictator like lee Kuan yew who will eradicate all the retards in the country and drag it into the 21st century until then we will be in the same position

It depends. Hopefully but our country is driven by hatred (tribalism) and corruption. These politicians and leaders only want to fill their pockets. On top of that the diaspora don't give a flying F* about Somalia and are just living comfortably in the western world and don't eventually want to go back. Even the younger generation has tribalism hatred. We all worshipping some tribal daddy and only care about tribes. If we leave these things than yes Somalia has potential to have a large economic boost
