I say yes this is why he wants timely elections, right now farmaajo is not super popular and the somali parliament has been allergic to giving second terms. He is also more popular than the former presidents Sharif and HSM. No way in hell Khayre wins in parliament by himself he's too laangaab and he'lll split the N iyo N votes in half at best 60/40 if he's running alone = no chance in a 1m1v he has a better chances especially if Farmaajo doesn't run = 50% chance but this guy is dependent on the parliament and he's trusts them it doesn't make sense what he's doing

I think it is a very real possibility. Murursade have big clout in Xamar, GalMudug and are traditionally the elders of HAG. They were the founders of USC. But more importantly, Kheyre is his own man and they let him do his job. He has a good network around him.
