Why life is good in Galmudug

Right now I am in Galmudug. Been here for the past 15 days. I first landed in Mogadishu, only stayed a few hrs until my connection flight to Cadaado. I did manage to go out of the aiport and into Mog city. The place is a dump and people are miserable, no security. What a utter shit hole the place has become.

From Cadaado I went by car to Bandiradleey. I get my fresh caano geel here delivered to me every day. Only $2 for 3 liters. The tap water is sweet and fresh it is 100% mineral water. I have cheap super fast internet via Hormoud. I watch movies via netflix. Every five days I buy a big fat goat/sheep for $60 share it with my neighbors. I used to get 5 water melons and dozens of Mangoes delivered to my house via Beledweyn but this year there is none.

Meat and milk is cheap here but there is a lack of veg. Galmudug needs to do its own farming in a large scale. Electricity is free because I fitting solar power in all my homes. I have all the appliaces from washing machine, tv, laptop, play statiion etc

I borrowed my friends car. So I drive to Galinssor and Cadaado and I then drive to Galkayo. I even drove just by myself to wargalo. This is the most peaceful place in Somalia. In South Galakyo I even saw some Egyptians doctors walking about shopping.

I see so many positive changes. I have to give it to the youth here. They are making this place a better place to live. Haters say that this land is a desert but we have rivers flowing underneath. I had date palms growing in mu house after just spiting out the seeds. Galmudug is super safe. Local police know I am here but don't bother me.

I have a huge house in Galkayo, another big one in Bandiradlley, just brought another land in Galkayo to build another house. Brought 5 hecters in Xaar Xaar just outside of Galakyo to turn it into a farm. I am now looking to buy land in Galinsoor and 20 plots of land in hobyo for future investment.

I am jealous that you are in Africa and especially Somalia. Why dont you share with us all the precautions you took travelling during a time like this. I dont think I can take much more staying in Canada. I need to leave.

Make sure you get a Covid 19 test certificate. I took Turkish airlines, which is the best. No more having to go through Kenya and paying bribes. Straight to Somalia.

Ethiopian airlines will also take you straight to Hargaysa, Garoowe or Bosaso. I can't wait until Ethiopian airlines connects with Galmudug airports, will save me the trouble of having to go through Mogadishu via transit.

From selling tea to now being a multi millionaire. I see a lot of self made millionaires here.
Hormoud is lending locals up to $100, 000 interest free. I could not believe it until my friend showed me his bank account. They won't lend just to anyone.

I wish i studied agriculture in University. Would of been great help with my farming business venture

I hate going through Kenya too. Tuugada took almost $200 from me last time I went to Somalia because they said my bag was over the weight limit, even when I took out a lot of items I bought from Somalia they still threatened me and said they will not let me board my flight unless I paid them. Disgusting corrupt people. Mugame said even their babies are corrupt, or something to that effect.:ftw9nwa::ftw9nwa:
