Why is the Somali government overpaying for naval ships

Ive seen a thread were HSM was prepared to spend 120 million for 6 naval ships.

He can get these fir kess than 10 million a pop. This just an expensive version of many that are being sold btw.

Patrol boats are even cheaper but the technology it uses is great for ptotecting our waters

These sorts of systems need repair and maintenance. The upfront cost is misleading. You can’t just buy it and maintain it yourself. Hence why they cost a lot more for a government

HSM is low IQ and defaulted on the contract resulting in Somalia currently being sued by the company. What moron signs a deal for naval ships worth more than the domestic revenue he generates from taxes…? HSM is the answer.
