Somaliland has been seperate from the rest of somalia for over 30 years. In that time, we must ask ourselves what has been achieved? We are still poor. Struck by famine. Unemployed and uneducated. What has the corrupt Somaliland gov'ts given back to its people apart from relative peace? We are worse off than Yemen in terms of GDP yet we spend all our time begging for ictiraaf (certain X accounts sucking off yahood) and it's extremely shameful and embarrassing. Somaliland would be way better off if we just joined back with the rest of the country. That way we can achieve much more. Also, I don't believe that democracy or any sort of election based processes can work in our nation. Way too much corruption and voters get bought off and we end up with terrible leaders. I believe we need a strong and young leader that rules with sharia law. That way, somalis can return to their former glory and we can think about the vision of Somaliweyn

I've been thinking about it for a while and for a period of about 2 years I was indifferent to the politics but I've taken a stance now. However, in order to ever unite somalis, 4.5, democracy and federalism needs to be put in the bin and certain people need to be put in jail

There needs to be an independent institution that investigates mismanagment of funds like in Singapore, Somalia launched the ACC in 2019 but it's still symbolic, they're planning on giving it more power but I doubt they will allow it
