I believe there could've been a prophet sent to the horn long ago that preached monotheism. Ancient East cushites like Somali and Oromo worshipped a monotheist god and worshiped to the sky and didn't use idols. But the Cushites/Horn doesn't have a lineage of prophets like the middle eastern Semites

And Waaq was a single god. There are no other gods we know of. Nidar was a punisher thing sort of like a judgment angel or smth. And the Ayaanle was the Angels. It was quite similar to the abrahamic faiths.
But waaqism was mostly based on tradition and story telling. It wasn't a centralised faith.
Also from the fact that's Geelgires across the horn abstained from eating certain parts of the animal, we could also make an assumption that the religion also had some foods that were to be abstained from as part of the religion.

She is a folk story. And it can't be connected to queen if sheba. I've heard oromo straight from the Galla south of Ethiopia say they've got similar story. So it's obviously an old Cushitic story. Nothing to do with sheba idk where you got that from. Their stories are completely different.

Theres no other god is waaqism. No one knows it and it isn't mentioned anywhere.
We still have about 4 million Waaqists in Oromia, they only worship one god as far as I know.

The Arabs only had four prophets that we know of (Hud, Saleh, Shuaib (AS), and Muhammmad (SAWS)). The Cushites have a prophet that we know of as @Emir of Zayla mentioned and probably several more. The only group with a lineage of prophets are the Bani Israel and that's because God made a special covenant with them.
