Why does the west keep ethiopia alive

At this point we know ethiopian state only exists as a mass prison under one group or other but almost always habesha. Look at kenya and look at ethiopia there you see the difference in good management. I really wish ethiopia was something better as it would benefit all, but sadly it is nothing but poor habesha trying their hand at imperialism.

Because it's surrounded by Muslim countries (Sudan, Somalia,) and could be used to keep those Muslim countries in chaos/problems/or at the very least, help ''contain them.''

Ethiopia is a historically Christian country surrounded by muslims . Or at least thats how they present themselves to the west . Gaalo have a soft spot for them the same way most muslims have one for Palestine for example
