Why Do Southies Claim North Mudug?

I never understood this but every-time I meet a southie, they have some omar mahmoud fetish, be it clan wise they are all reer mahad usually the sheegaatos and they always seem to target them and want to rip them away from PL and make em join the hellhole south. I want to remind these people, north-mudug people are the ones who founded PL and initiated that we pull out of Somalia untill such time a federal state emerges.

North Mudug people are the most armed and battle ready clans of PL, their tanks, bms, bebes are always aimed at the southy at all time yet the southy still seems to think their is some shared bond-ness between them. Maybe they suffer stockholm syndrome and love their torturer or something these people.

I remind the southy, the people who hate the south the most in PL is reer mudug folks. Reer bari are quite liberal and opentowards you ilk and reer nugaal are not gun-trigger happy with u but we are also not interested in your madness shifting beyond the south either.

So when u guys keep making moves on Galkacyo, that is the only time nugaalis deem it a valid war but if u mind your own business and live in your isbaaro heaven we don't care deep down, it's effecting your people except of course Mogadishu which effects the nation, but anywhere outside that, we honestly could care less for your internal problems.

In short when u try to appeal to mudug folks it shows u lack understanding of PL regions, mudug folks are like the rednecks, they r the last ones u want to approach as a southy, you should be wise southy and approach reer bari folks like dahir aways did in 93, those clowns are more receptive to your bullshit.

Actually if u look at the Somali Map including 'ogaden' they are considered 'west' on that map, below beletwayn is considered south, above beletwayn it's considered north and within the north there are 'zones' like north central where u r from, north-east, north-west.

In Somali geography though it's a little different they are grouped into either west, east, north, south. North is 'SL' and south is beletwayn and below, east is anything above beletwayne and west is ogadeniya.

The cut off is the river that defines the south as it's more settled down and less moving around and it's very diverse and intermingled. The north and west and east are identical in having large populations that are unsettled and moving around and it's a similar desert environment and hence the cultures are more similar also. But there is nothing to distinguish the central regions from the bari or western or northern region unless u got something I missed?

But in somali geography Somalidu waa 'afar jiho' as they knew as either bariga, galbeedka, konfurta, waqoyiga. There was no mention of a center in early somali, the center developed when the new states were created but when u look at geography purely on somali geography, they only knew of 4 directions

A nice wall would be great east and west jerusalem style. We all know Jerusalem is controlled by the Israelis and palestinians are guests, it's a shame galmudug doesn't know it plays the same role in galkacyo. I mean the city though. That 'gobol' itself is probably 50/50 but I may be wrong but that is my guess based on how the districting was done.

Galmudug is a straight up war zone. I stayed there one night in a hotel and gunshots were going off all night and the place looks uninhabitable. No same person would claim that hell hole. The contrast when you get to PL tho
