Why Do Somalis Fear Their Religious Leaders?

I've always wondered why Somalis go silent like a girl when discussing Islam with their religious leaders? Are you scared of some dude who eats, sleeps, and shits like you? Are you scared he calls you a Gaal and U suffer social backlash as he doesn't have any authority to determine people soul, as the soul isn't his private property. Do you think when you die any human can help you or tell you what's to come?

These religious leaders can't even determine their own fate after death with 100% fact and will always tell u only Allah knows what is going to happen to them and their fate, so I get surprised why you guys fear them as that is a form of shirk if you are silent like a girl around them because your belief and fear of god is shared with some mortal and fallible human religious authority.

I will cut a long story short for you, when you die no human can tell you anything, they can read you all sort of this will happen and that will happen but it's all their faith but they can't ever prove it. So why do you put so much importance on these religious authority? He doesn't know what is to become of himself upon death and it's sad you sit there letting him tell you what's to befall you lol.

I'm not knocking religion as it does have lots of wisdom in terms of examples for people to ponder and yes their most likely is some sort of unknown being or architect that is beyond our limited brains but that's where it ends. Anything after that in terms of rituals, morality and after death question is all faith based and faith is like opinions or asses everyone has one but that doesn't necessarily mean it's a fact.

You can believe in anything U want dude but it doesn't turn belief into a fact. I don't believe the sun is true cuz it doesn't require belief, I KNOW the sun is true, see that's a fact. Somalis mistake faith n belief into thinking it's some sort of undeniable fact.

I mean come on your a grown ass man you don't need some man just like you reading you his beliefs lol, it's just a belief and it cannot be ever proved to be real or a fact. Just face your demons regarding the unknown taboo topic of death and U shall be fine once U conquer your fear of it. I actually welcome death now cause imagine living for billions of years, that would be torture even if it's a nice paradise existence.

So they can't use the death topic to spiritually fool me into accepting their belief. I respect their belief and take it onboard as it's some sort of knowledge but I also don't fully believe nor fully reject and remain totally agnostic or don't know position or we will see won't we type of position about it.

I do accept a higher and unknown being as an ultimate source but I don't believe in boring ass rituals or boring ass we all sinners and need love emotional bribery nonsense. If anything I believe in a god who is wise like a coach, architect, mentor or the way a male lion behaves while the female leads and that's my belief because that's my mental state and cultural conditioning and I don't go around saying it's a universal fact for all.

if the person scared is 35 + they have civil war trauma if the person scared is less than 35 then it is religious indoctrination. These days you cannot question anything regarding 'sheikh' or 'macalin' or 'imam' they abuse their power even in the west.


I tried to question a local islamic council that was collecting federal/state religios exemption tax rebate and not doing any beneficial thing for the local community whom they claim to represent and i was called a mushrik and chased away. Somali people are being slowly mentally conquered by a deadly virus and they must contain it before it corrupts us all.

Im speaking to walls of shame and trauma and 'yowmul akhira soo dhaw' as most somalis say... so any form of facts get thrown out the window by ur avg somali. Somali culture as well is threathened with extinction with only language surviving, we have lost much of our sugaan and poetry thx mostly to these dubious felows that dominate somalis mentally. We can also blame westernisation of the youth. All in all we are in some deep trouble and only mental strength of a small percentage of somalis can maintin hope.

These men are like you and Its sad seeing them in idolatry worship and total fear to what they say which itself isnt a fact or provable they always ends all their religious advice with allahu Alam or please believe what I say lol and belief is nothing more than an unproven opinion.

What baffled me bro is their religious class use all sorts of emotional bribery, judgement on ppl souls and seeking power only and we know no man can help or describe what comes affer death with fact beyond rayi which they call imaanso rayi kun iyo afar boqol sano ka hor and even mohamed is quoted himself saying I don't know what is to come after death even for his soul and clearly showing ppl he is a mortal and his rayi the Islamic deen can be questioned and tested.

Even those Christians use guilt first to show u some sinful person and then use emotional bribery that Jesus loves you and died for your sinful nature lol which is odd cause the last words of Jesus was hey god why did u forsake me so even he seems he was duped by his own belief lol but then the later christians seeing that last word of Jesus as a problem say he rose again and blah blah blah.

Fact remains jesus last word was of some dude that regretted his message and they say he regreted it so much in the revelation book by his followers they say he is coming back with violence lol where as the truth is he was to weak to fight in his first coming and even he seemed he regretted his whole mission and wasting his life or why would he say god why did u forsake me or left me before he died and no Christian can answer it.

I respect Islamic clerics in position of authority like I would respect a Judge of a court, its a legal matter to me not a spiritual one. Only Allah will judge you in the day of judgement not a human being.

allah bari, wanqal, quraan saar and many other occasions these guys extracted wealth from my ancestor, generally my ancestors would feed them at all cost avoid incurring their curses but that is where I differ from my ancestors I am not superstitious like them I pay Sadaqa instead of putting a random dude on a pedestal and give him part of my wealth I give it to the needy.
