Why do Somalis act like being excommunicated is something other somalis should fear?

I remember somalis where hating on maya jama for acknowledging her somali hertiage that she got from her somai father just the same way she acknowledging her swedish hertiage she got from her mother.

Anyway they went insane saying that she doesn't "deserve" to be called somali as if being somali achievement and not simply just an ethnicity, the way some somalis think they have the authority to refrain others from their own ethnicity is beyond me.

Somalis care too much about what others think, maybe because 90% of them are unemployed and on social benefits with lots of free time
