Why do people overestimate the influence of Italian culture in Somalia ?

When I went to south Somalia there was no Italian influence expect for pasta.

only Arabic and English is everywhere .

I see the Somali and facist Italian gov are trying to restore the Italian influence but it’s long gone .

anyways is it a strange coincident very African they colonised are in a terrible state

It's actually a good thing when a culture's culinary range is influenced/inspired by as many cultures as possible
