Why do Hijabis still get harassed?

Alhamdulilah, I never have been catcalled at by strangers or anything, but I hear a lot of Muslim women who wear hijab and don't but still wear modest clothing get harassed. Like, we covered ourselves, stopped "asking for it" (stupid ideology tbh) and followed our religion and you are still doing this. Ya Salaam, it's hard being a woman sometimes.

We complain because we have been patient before and now it's gotten too far. Try being a woman (well you can't because that's Haram) but at least think about what our life is like on a daily basis and then come back.

What you should consider is your complaining is pointless. You are crying over nothing and into a void. You even said it doesn’t happen to you.

Think of this. Say 990 men do not harass women on a given day you are out. 10 do. These 10 are an insignificant amount but can harass 10 or so women each. Therefore you’ll have women complaining why are all guys this, that and else.

There’s nothing perfect in this world. There’s always bad apples. Accept this and you’ll live a better happier life.

It's just really annoying honestly, and I just wanted to talk about it to raise awareness because lots of people think that girls are safer outside if they wear hijab compared to others. It doesn't happen to me but it doesn't mean I shouldn't care.

I am aware you weren’t generalising. I am just saying to you nothing we do will change this. You can’t raise every kid perfectly or prematurely stop every person who’s a potential offender.

If a man wants to harass you he doesn't care what your dressed like. simple as that
Some men even have fetishes for hijabi women and some just want to violently unleash their rage on them bc they hate Muslims.
In the Vietnam war the american men would rape the Vietnamese men in order to show they have power over them and humiliate them(sounds gay to me but according to them it was to abuse the men).
Point is some people are sick and no matter what you do they will harass you
