Why didn't the nabad and nolol government tackle the security issue?

so what happened with this government? It's not like it tried to defeat AS and fail, it just didn't even bother. Massive amounts of money was spent rigging local elections by farmaajo to make sure his reelection chances would be good. What's the point of being the president of a country that's held hostage by AS? This government prioritized everything over security. It's like living in another universe where common sense works backwards.

They have been too busy to try and get themselves re-elected from day 1 and to try and destroy FMS instead of focusing on the real enemy AS.

The government can't change everything in one night, the goal of Farmaajo was to consolidate control of the federal states and build up the military /secret service industry. He has made headways but it will take at least a decade to actually finish his plan.

The elections really screwed everything up, Hopefully it'll be behind us by February.

I dont think they had security issues in mind When they promoted a young ex al Shabaab member to the top security position .
All the soldiers that were trained in Turkey are used to topple and centralize Federal member states .
NISA are used to terrorize banadir elderly women and to kill innocent students.

Security is the last think this pro al Shabaab government was worried about .
