There was a conflict between the US and the Soviet Union known as the Cold War.
For US geopolitical interests, they pushed for people all over the world to foam at the mouth at the word "Communism". So for example, killing Lumumba was allegedly justified because "fighting Communism".
Rabid anti-Communism was honestly used as a tool of US interests.
That being said, anti-Communism existed prior to the Cold War and there were anti-Communists who weren't US puppets.
But this idea that I need to foam at the mouth about Communism and then go attack the geopolitical rivals of the US- I do not believe in that.
If China starts bombing and invading Muslim countries in the way the US does, maybe I'll feel differently about China.
There are millions and millions of Muslims in the Muslim world who are in the same camp as I am when it comes to China. But almost everyone on here is posting from the West so it's kind of to be expected that people follow the Western line. They're free to do that but I don't do so.
